TARGET: a group of 15 over-40-year-old representatives from the meeting industry: managers and directors, all Italian

OBJECTIVES: Favouring participants’ development of change management and strategic innovation skills for professional repositioning, enabling them to introduce new elements or radical changes in their career path.

Switching from a customer satisfaction policy to a new client consulting approach was the purpose chosen to determine a fundamental turn in participants’ way to deal with market innovations and clients’ evolving requirements. Acquiring new skills to break past trends and stereotypes is today necessary to lead clients beyond the economic crisis and find new opportunities for the future of their companies through a system perspective. Participants worked in groups, in pairs or individually at their workplace. The training program ended with an event titled “Out of the Box” during which all participants had the opportunity to present the innovative ideas developed from their participation to potential clients.
